Zemen Bank Employees Plant Seedlings of a Greener Future at Lemi Industrial Park.

Zemen Bank employees planted 5,000 fruit-bearing and indigenous tree seedlings at Lemi Industrial Park on August 8, 2026, as part of the Bank’s commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

In a message delivered on the occasion, Girum Tariku, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Zemen Bank, stated that the seedlings included avocado, cypress, grevillea and bottlebrush trees.
He noted that 70% of the seedlings were fruit trees, while the remaining 30% were indigenous trees.

The activity also highlighted the continued impact of Zemen Bank’s environmental initiatives at the site. Most of the seedlings planted by the Bank’s employees since 2023 were observed to have successfully survived and were growing well, demonstrating the lasting contribution of the Bank’s annual seedling-planting efforts.
