Zemen Bank has received recognition from MasterCard for its service as the first issuer of Premium MasterCard in Ethiopia, which it has been offering for the past 5 years.
Mr. Shehryar Ali, Vice President and Country Manager of East Africa and Indian Ocean Islands at MasterCard, handed over the award to Ato Dereje Zebene, CEO of Zemen Bank, today, April 9, 2026.
After holding discussions aimed at further strengthening their long-standing strategic partnership, Zemen Bank and MasterCard have signed an agreement that will enable them to continue and reinforce their long standing relationship.
